Syrah 2011 (Silver Medal) 
Crafted from grapes sourced in Waipara Canterbury and processed in the Point Bush winery in French Oak barrels * wine has a rich ruby hue * full body* good mouth extension * tastes of ripe plums & berries with hint of spice * an excellent vintage year !

Pinot Noir 2009 (Bronze Medal)

Crafted from grapes sourced in Waipara Canterbury and processed in the Point Bush winery * an excellent vintage year * this wine has a deep burgundy hue * full body * good mouth extension * an explosion of ripe plums & berries *definitely a wine to decant to allow to breathe prior to drinking * NB course filtration was used in processing this aged wine and can have residual in the bottom of the wine bottle.

Pinot Gris 2011                                                                                                                       Crafted from grapes grown on the Point Bush vineyard *an elegant Pinot Gris with tastes of pear & honeydew melon with a hint of minerality from the terroir of clay/loam soil * best served not too chilled to impart the delicate fruit tastes. NB: there may be some “wine diamonds” that are harmless natural tartrates in the last pour from the bottle. These occur during the cold stabilizatio process of white wines.

Fumé Blanc 2015
Sauvignon with a touch of oak (fumé) Crafted from sauvignon blanc grapes grown on the Point Bush vineyard and left on French Oak barrel for 3 months to impart fumé hints. A crisp and fruity Sauvignon that retains a young wine character despite the 2015 vintage.

Fumé Gris 2015
Pinot Gris with a touch of oak (fumé) Crafted from pinot gris grapes grown on the Point Bush vineyard and left on French Oak barrel for 3 months to impart fumé hints. This wine retains classic tastes of pear & honeydew melon and is not overpowered by oak. Chill and enjoy!
