Tasting Notes:

The wine has a deep burgundy hue complimented by intense raspberry and earthy aromas, with a hint of clove. Excellent mouthfeel and length, married with delicate berryfruit flavours and a touch of dark chocolate.

Winemakers Notes:

The 2009 vintage was a good one in North Canterbury with plenty of heat units and a prolonged Indian summer.  Alcohol content: 14.2%
