Elegant lightly oaked Chardonnay, with a deep golden hue and a buttery aroma with hints of vanilla and orange blossom. The delicate and crisp acidity is a product of malolactic fermentation, and the six months spent agin in old French Oak.
For those Pinot Gris lovers this wine is to swoon over. Rich in texture with ripe fruit aromas of pear, quince and herbs married with a rich and smooth textural palate. A wine to savour over lunch or by the fire.This lively wine displays excellent length and mouthfeel, while still packing a punch.
Fruit for this wine was sourced from Dallington Downs vineyard in Waipara.
This wine has a vibrant scarlet hue with a distinctive aroma of berry fruits and sour cherries, typical of Pinot Noir. Though lighter in style, the palate is extremely well balanced and explodes with classic Canterbury tannins.
The 2008 vintage in Canterbury was a good one for ripening Pinot Noir and the fruit for this wine comes from Dallington Downs in Waipara which enjoyed stable weather patterns with plenty of heat units.
